Book reviews for youngsters

Whilst trawling through the various videos online linked to libraries, I came across this one entitled "What if Barbie had a book group?". Personally I think it's more than a little trashy and very American, however it made me think that there is potential for my library to devise videos which could be posted on the library site or blog or wiki, to catch the interest of younger library users. Perhaps something like this would be quite appealing to younger teens and if it gets them interested in reviewing books, and therefore READING books, that would be great. It also circumvents the potential problems entailed with videotaping real children doing book reviews and posting them. Using toys or the like could be a fun way of presenting the library material!
